About this place
One of the pizzas that catches the eye at JUN'S PIZZA is the Americana: mozzarella and sausage topped with French fries. A visitor describes a generous mound of fries served for diners to dress themselves with ketchup and mayonnaise. Their favourite approach is to combine the two into something like a Thousand Island-style sauce. It is a tempting choice if you want a substantial pizza or something a little different from the usual options.
The crust has drawn mixed impressions. Some diners describe it as fluffy and chewy, as enjoyed with a Margherita; another notes a crisp texture reminiscent of corn kernels. One visit also came after the dough had changed, so impressions may vary depending on when you go. For the pizzas, the Margherita—with tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil—is a familiar starting point. Other options include Lasagna with ricotta and a Calzone filled with mozzarella, ricotta and ham.
For a different flavour profile, consider the Cicinielli, topped with whitebait, garlic and oregano, or the Limone, with chorizo and courgette, fresh-squeezed lemon and black pepper. The menu also pairs cured ham with rocket and offers a Quattro Formaggi made with four cheeses. Ordering different pizzas to share makes it easy to compare.
To add a small plate, there is fried gnocchi coated in grated cheese, as well as French fries that can be ordered with truffle flavour. Both are suggested as accompaniments to wine or beer, and make shareable starters. Craft beer is available, with a tasting set of two varieties listed on the menu. For dessert, choose between tiramisu made with espresso-soaked Savoiardi and mascarpone, and cassata, an ice cream cake with dried cranberries and chocolate chips.
